The tour starts from Old Town Sarajevo.

The fall of Yugoslavia was a complex process that unfolded during the late 20th century, marked by political instability, economic decline, and rising ethnic nationalism. Once a unified socialist federation in Southeast Europe, Yugoslavia began to fracture after the death of its longtime leader, Josip Broz Tito, in 1980 and after the end of “Iron Gate”. Throughout the 1990s, internal tensions escalated into a series of conflicts that led to the independence of several republics. These events reshaped the Balkans and had lasting political, social, and humanitarian consequences for the region.

Experience Sarajevo through its darkest chapter – the longest siege in modern European history. On this powerful and emotional tour, you’ll learn how citizens endured 1,425 days without basic necessities, yet resisted with spirit, culture, and dignity. From sniper alleys to underground tunnel, this journey tells the true story of courage, survival, and resilience in the face of horror.

Driving throughout Sarajevo while explaining all the war stories at exact places, tourist will be able to learn from firsthand about the Fall of Yugoslavia, but also about the Siege of Sarajevo and the frontlines around the city. During the drive people will experience still visible bullet holes and shrapnel damages. After seeing solid part of city of Sarajevo, while driving in the car, we will end in Tunnel of Hope Museum to summarize the story and learn how the tunnel was an artery of the city.

Last stop is Mt. Trebević and the bob sleigh made for the Olympics 1984., while driving up to he mentioned location tourist will witness the main high ground from where the Bosnian Serb paramilitary troops bombed the city.
